We can apply a set of methods in order do identify scenarios and classify them. So the actions taken to avoid or mitigate them can identified and assessed, improving the safety of your operations. The majority of risks analysis we apply are:

  1. HAZID: intent to identify the hazard, the causes, consequences and actions taken to avoid or mitigate the hazard. Additionally each event is classified according its level of consequence and frequency. The application of this technic help you to see the whole picture of risk related to your operations and to focus on actions that must be  done to prevent the occurrence and to prepare for them.

  2. HAZOP: we use guide words to evaluate the causes and consequences of changes on process conditions. Based on that we can improve the process design, avoiding that an unpredicted process condition or state lead to an accident.

  3. LOPA:

  4. BOWTIE:

Also we can complement the risk study applying RAMS analysis to quantitatively assess the frequency of hazard events (read more about RAMS)
